Everhot Cookery Demonstrations - Wednesday 15th and Thursday 16th September 2010
We will be holding two cookery demonstrations with Rob Rees 'The Cotswold Chef' on our working display model Everhot 150 in September.
The first, on the afternoon of the Wednesday the 15th, is for people who already have an Everhot and is a 'cookery workshop' style event.
The second, on the morning of Thursday the 16th, is for people who haven't yet upgraded to an Everhot and don't have any, or only have a little experience of range style cooking.
Please let us know if you would like to come, and which event you would like to come to either by telephoning (01756 792491) or e-mailing us (worldsfinest@tncook.co.uk) with your details.
Please make sure you book in advance - demonstrations are usually oversubscribed so we can't guarantee you'll be able to come if you arrive without pre-booking. The event is in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance - there will be a £10.00 charge for tickets, all of which will be donated to the Air Ambulance Appeal.

Changes to AGA's Thermometer
Synonymous with the traditional heat storage AGA is its thermometer however; on models with the energy saving AIMS control the temperature display will be now on the handset rather than the cooker. Made necessary by a European (or Government, we're not sure which) directive meaning mercury (which has been used in thermometers for as long as anyone can remember) can no longer be used. AGA have told us that they are working on a replacement 'spirit' filled thermometer for the non-AIMS models (these don't have the handset so can't use it for the temperature read-out) but the AIMS ones will have a non-working 'dummy' thermometer from now on.
Click here to download our pdf guide to how it works and a comparison to the 'old' mercury thermometer.

Finding Us with Your Sat-Nav?
Some Sat-Nav systems may not get you here!!
Our postcode (BD23 6DR) is shared with two or three properties and some systems confuse it with others nearby.
Please take care to make sure you know where we are - click here to see the directions page - if your Sat-Nav tries to take you in to a housing estate then you're going the wrong way. We are at a converted farm just inside Skipton bypass (on the Otley / Leeds / Addingham side); our drive is easy to find and is signed off the main road.
Please give us a ring if you're unsure.

Upgrade Your Oil AGA To Electric
There is now an official, fully guaranteed kit to upgrade and convert existing oil fired AGAs to run on electricity.
Not only that, but the conversion kit will also include AGA's 'AIMS' so you can programme and control the cooker's temperature so it suits your lifestyle.
Kits are available for all oil AGAs made after 1974. There is one for hot water boiler model AGAs, but it does mean removing the boiler from the cooker. AGAs that have been converted to oil from any other fuel can't be converted to electric at the moment.
The oil to electric AIMS upgrade kit is priced at £1,999.00 including VAT @ 17.5% and fitting.
For more information on AIMS, please click here, or if you'd like to arrange a survey please give us a call or use the form on our contact page.
